A small sporting club at Aix-les-Bains, a small town not far from the French Alps, made a great discovery only six years ago. Now 21-year-old Christophe Lemaître participated to a sport-day 50-m sprint competition, just for fun. Coaches don the spot just did not believe their eyes. Now it takes between 45-60 days for a big company to pay its bills for their small partners. This causes serious problems for the small, making it difficult to meet their social security, salary and tax obligations. At the same time, banks are reluctant to lend mone, partly because of Basel III-requirements for bank solvability.
